Privacy policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit the Presstime website. In short: as little as possible.
01Who we are
This website presents Presstime, a social media scheduling product. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to Presstime, which is responsible for (the data controller of) any personal data processed through this website.
The website was designed and built by RIGTech (rigtech.eu), which handles enquiries about it on our behalf. You can reach us using the contact details published on rigtech.eu.
02The short version
- This website has no forms, no accounts, no sign-ups and no newsletter.
- We use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies, and we don’t build profiles of visitors.
- Fonts and images are served from this website itself, so loading a page doesn’t contact Google or other third parties.
- The only data processed is the technical information any web server needs to deliver a page, handled by our hosting provider.
03Data we process
Server logs. When you load a page, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data needed to deliver it and keep the service secure:
- your IP address;
- the date and time of the request and the page requested;
- your browser type and operating system (the “user agent”);
- the referring page, if your browser sends it.
We don’t combine this data with other sources or use it to identify you.
Theme preference. If you use the light/dark switch, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage aspresstime-theme. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
04Why we process it, and on what legal basis
Server logs are processed to deliver the website, keep it secure, and detect and prevent abuse such as attacks or excessive automated traffic. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The theme preference is stored only at your request, so that the website remembers the setting you chose.
07How long we keep data
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting, and are then deleted automatically according to the hosting provider’s retention schedule. The theme preference stays in your browser until you clear it.
08Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format, where applicable;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Because we keep no accounts or forms, we usually can’t link log data to a specific person. If you contact us, we may ask for details such as the date, time and IP address of your visit so we can find any relevant records.
09The Presstime app
This policy covers this website only. Presstime itself is in private beta and isn’t publicly available. When it becomes available, it will have its own privacy policy describing the data it handles, such as the media you schedule and the social accounts you connect.
10Children
This website isn’t directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly process their personal data.
11Links to other websites
This website links to rigtech.eu and may mention third-party platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we aren’t responsible for how they handle your data.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when the website or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
13Contact
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us through RIGTech, which handles enquiries about this website on our behalf, using the details on rigtech.eu.
